COMPETING &
IMPROVING YOUR GAME
Our members range from beginners to state champions. Some players simply enjoy the game, others seek opportunities to improve their skills. If you have never played and would like an introduction into pickleball, or improve your game, reach out to our Ambassador, Tracy Barry.
Our Board of Directors believes that understanding court etiquette is essential. This is an excellent video that covers a broad range of pickleball sportsmanship tips: Never EVER Do These Things On A Pickleball Court | Etiquette (youtube.com) Also, a great article about about coming together, playing fair, and enjoying the game: “The Politics of Open Play & Why It Isn’t All About You“.
PROFESSIONAL GROUP INSTRUCTION WITH MARK PRICE
If you are interested in professional group instruction, our club hosted a 3-day pickleball camp with Mark Price at the Rec Department this year, and he plans to return for another Pickleball Camp in June of 2025.
A PROFESSIONAL EXPOSITION
This event is free to the public.
If you wish to watch professional’s play, our club has hosted two Pro Exhibitions and we will host our Third Professional Expo in June of 2025. The event is well received, especially the raffle to play with the pros.

WE LOVE TO COMPETE!
Rabun County players love daily Open Play. All three gyms are busy throughout the day using a “rotation style” system so everyone can enjoy play. Organized competitions are also hosted by the Club.
